These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Backupinsta's website and backup services. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Backupinsta provides immutable, end-to-end encrypted backup and recovery for endpoints, servers and cloud workloads. Features and limits depend on your selected plan.

2. Accounts and acceptable use

• You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity in your workspace.
• You must not use the service unlawfully or to back up content you do not have the right to store.
• You must not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer or abuse the service or its infrastructure.

3. Plans, trials and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. The 14-day free trial requires no card. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

4. Data and backups

You retain ownership of your data. You are responsible for configuring policies and retention appropriate to your needs. We provide the service with commercially reasonable care but do not guarantee against all data loss.

5. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts paid for the service in the twelve months preceding a claim.
