Account information: name, email and workspace details you provide when signing up.
Backup metadata: device names, schedules, snapshot timestamps and storage usage needed to operate the service.
Usage data: log and diagnostic data used to maintain reliability and security.

Your backup contents are encrypted with AES-256 on your device before upload, under a key held per device. We cannot read the contents of your backups.

To provide, secure and improve the backup service.
To communicate about your account, billing and service status.
To meet legal, compliance and security obligations.

3. Data retention

Backup data is retained according to the retention policy you configure. Account and billing records are kept only as long as required for the service and applicable law.
